Indian Head 100 Bike Ride – CCARC COMM Support

CCARC will once again provide communications support for the Indian Head 100 Bike Ride this year! The event is on Monday, 2 September 2019, Labor Day.

Please indicate if you have a preference as to where/how you would like to participate, e.g. net control, rest stop, SAG, etc.
Free picnic held on the Indian Head Village Green on the afternoon of the event.

Net Control at Start/Finish-Village Green, Indian Head 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
|Rest Stop #1 at Smallwood State Park||7:30 am to 10:30 am|
|Rest Stop #2 at Oak Grove Baptist Church||9:30 am to 11:30 am|
|Rest Stop #3 at Christ Church Durham||9:00 am to 1:00 pm|
|Rest Stop #4 at St. Ignatius / Chapel Point||10:00 am to 2:30 pm|
|Rest Stop #5 at Thomas Stone Historic House||10:00 am to 3:30 pm|
SAG Wagon support* – as needed, throughout the day
*The SAG Wagon support volunteer would provide a mobile rig/antenna/battery for the SAG Wagon and ride along with the SAG driver. Last year’s HAM SAG support was in the area of Rest Stops #2 and #3.

The Maryland Emergency Net meets on air every evening from 6-6:30pm on 3.820 MHz LSB. The net is listed on our calendar on the 1st of each month so you can add it to your Google calendar. You can then change your calendar event to recur every day if you like.
